Our Process

Our process begins with a consultation, either on-site or virtual, to determine the best protective solution for your space. Upon getting the go ahead we schedule and begin to photograph the surface to create a high resolution image. We then create a sample to colour-match to your flooring in situ.

Once the sample is approved, your eyemat enters production. We finish each eyemats in our workshop with specialised stitching and/or custom edging to ensure maximum durability. Finally, our team performs the on-site installation, where possible, following plans previously approved. We are always able to discuss any issues that may arise or any follow up questions via telephone or email following completion.

Preserving Longevity Through Sustained Care

Our responsibility to heritage flooring protection extends far beyond installation. We provide specialised care and maintenance designed specifically for the unique demands of historic environments. Depending on the property we will discuss what cleaning requirements are needed. Our Care and Maintenance contracts in the UK often include collection of the eyemats, cleaning, basic repairs and reinstallation.

We offer Care and Maintenance to all clients where possible as well as as continuing support and availability to help the eyemats settle with the property. if there are any issue we are able to be contacted either by phone or email!

We don't just do flooring!

Eyemats extends its bespoke expertise far beyond heritage flooring protection to offer a sophisticated range of interior enhancements. Our workshop now produces quality canvas prints, custom chair covers, and high quality artwork replicas. Each enhancement is crafted to the same exacting standards as our protective flooring solutions, ensuring a seamless aesthetic flow throughout your historic property. We invite curators and owners to discuss these potential preservation options with our specialist team.
